This past Sunday Jaclyn and Matt tied the knot at Abulae in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. We are starting to become fairly familiar with Abulae seeing as we have shot three weddings here in as many months. First off, THANK YOU! This past Saturday we were asked to cover Kelly and Andrew's wedding. Huge thanks to Amy of Fete Perfection for all of the planning to make this day awesome! Kelly and Andrew currently reside in New York City but flew home to get hitched. We started the day with getting ready photos at Loew's Minneapolis and then onto the Stone Arch Bridge for wedding party photos. Next to the ceremony which was held at Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church and finally onto Calhoun Beach Club for the wedding reception. Wow! Summer is flying by! Its been over a month but we are still glowing from such an amazing evening at the Minnesota Bride magazine awards party back in July! This year we were given the award for “Best Photography” for our sixth consecutive year and we were also given the “Top of the Tiara/Best Overall Vendor” in the entire wedding industry award for the third year in a row! We are so incredibly honored! The Minnesota Bride magazine awards are hosted every year and out of the hundreds of vendors in each category, three are nominated for each award as voted by past wedding couples and vendors in the industry. This past Saturday Graddy Photography had the amazing privilege of documenting Laura + Tim's amazing wedding! It was so nice to work with them again. Just when I thought I'd have seen it all as a wedding photographer...enter Caitlin and Zach! I guess I am most astonished at the fact that Caitlin wore her Mother's wedding dress with elements of her Grandmother's sewn into it....just goes to show what a sentimental and amazing person Caitlin is. Zach, he's a pretty good guy too :) We started the day with getting ready photos at her parents residence in Pequot Lakes with the ceremony soon following at St. Christopher's in downtown Nisswa, Minnesota. After the ceremony we headed to Grand View Lodge for the reception and happy hour cruise. Did I say cruise...well it was pretty much a cruise ship on Gull Lake, just take look! After the amazing voyage around the lake we ended up at their reception in the Heritage Room at Grand View Lodge. Pretty much a perfect wedding, all that needs to be said really. Haley & Matt tied the knot this past Friday at the James J. Hill Library in downtown St. Paul. This was an event packed day stretching from one side of Rice park to the other. The reception was to take place at the Landmark Center a half block away. Also, the girls were getting makeup done at The Saint Paul Hotel and the guys getting ready at Heimie's Haberdashery.
