This past Friday Graddy Photography made our way up to Carlos Creek Winery in Alexandria, Minnesota to cover Justin and Katie's wedding! We had some pretty muggy, hot summer weather but it was great shooting. Katie actually contacted us shortly after we shot a wedding up there in the fall of 2014. She knew exactly what she wanted in her wedding photos and we are happy to have obliged in offering our services. This past Saturday was Colette & Ryan's amazing fall wedding at Thunderbird Lodge in International Falls. Minnesota. International Falls is located about 7 hours directly north next to the U.S.-Canadian border. It was so great traveling and seeing parts of Minnesota that we have never seen and to see it in peak color was a treat. The ceremony was held in town with the reception taking place at Thunderbird Lodge on Rainy Lake. The bride and I actually have teamed up on many projects over the past few years as she was an employee for Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota. Well well this was a fun one! Chad & Michelle's epic wedding took place this past Sunday in Michelle's hometown of Pipestone, Minnesota. The couple decided to have their wedding at Michelle's old family home and what an amazing place for it to take place! To say that we adore these guys is an understatement and feel so honored to have played a small part in their big day. Well here we are, Meredith and James epic Grand View Lodge wedding! Meredith & James tied the knot this past Sunday at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota. The weather for late May was perfect, 82 degrees with a slight breeze. The couple had their wedding in the vineyard with the reception following at the newly remodeled Norway Room. This was such a sweet ceremony full of plenty of laughs and tears. Well well here we are! Courtney & John's amazing Grand View Lodge wedding. What could be better than shooting in the Minnesota northwoods in the summer and having it be 80 degress and sunny. Match that with an azaming couple and guests and you have a perfect wedding! The day started off with getting ready pictures in the Gull Lake Center and then onto the couple's first sight. From there, we headed around the resort for some great photo ops. After that, the ceremony took palce next to the grand staircase with the reception to follow in the Gull Lake Room. This was our fourth and final wedding of the year at Grand View Lodge and we will certainly miss it! We cannot thank you guys enough for choosing Graddy Photography as your Brainerd wedding photographer, it was awesome!

This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Mikayla & Mike's wedding at the one and only Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota. Grand View Lodge always provides such an amazing backdrop for a Minnesota north woods wedding. Most of Mikayla and Mike's guests were from New York City, L.A., & Chicago so they chose Grand View Lodge in central Minnesota to create a genuine MN wedding experience. Mikayla and her family have strong ties to the Brainerd Area of lakes as they have had a family cabin in the area for many years. The ceremony took place in Grand View Lodge's new ceremony site located directly behind Italian Gardens restaurant. The ceremony site was decorated beautifully by the wonderful Bloom Designs out of Brainerd. After the ceremony the guests made it over to the Gull Lake Center for the wedding reception. Back in the saddle again!!! Hey why not when it's 80 degrees and sunny at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota. This couldn't have worked out any better, two wonderful weddings at Minnesota's best resort! Today Kristina and Cory tied the knot and Graddy Photography was on hand to capture all the great emotion of the day. The day started off with getting ready photos at Roy Lake Cottages (Grand View property) right across the street from the main lodge. After the couple's first sight, we headed back over to the main lodge to get some creative couples shots and wedding party photos. The ceremony was held on the main pathway directly in front of the amazing grand staircase which gives Grand View such a unique wedding experience. After the ceremony the guests made their way up to the Gull Lake Center for the wedding reception. The rest of evening was great, be sure to check out the mother & son dance.....good stuff! Well this past week Graddy Photography made the trek uo to Grand View Lodge to photography Sandra & Matt's Minnesota destination wedding. We couldn't think of a better place to have an authentic Northwoods wedding. The weather was a perfect 75 degrees and sunny, not bad considering the kind of early summer we have had. The ceremony took place right on the grounds with a full service and the couple giving and receiving communion. After the ceremony it was onto the Norway Center for the reception. This past Saturday was an eventful day to say the least. Graddy Photography was up bright and early and ready to go to shoot Jennifer & Cris's wedding at the amazing Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota right next to Brainerd. Grand View Lodge is one our favorite places to shoot weddings. As a matter of fact we will be shooting four weddings up there next year as of now. Jennifer & Cris planned their wedding perfectly with a little help from the accomplished Nicole Sellers of Mother of the Bride event planning. It always nice working with such a consummate professional who keeps everything on time and is always relaxed and calm. The couple wrapped up with dinner by inviting their guests down to the beach for a little surprise......a fireworks show! This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Nicci & Marc's wedding at Madden's Resort in Brainerd, Minnesota. What a perfect setting for a wedding! The couple and wedding party were an absolute blast to work with. The day was pretty warm for a September wedding. The weather was 85 and sunny and not a cloud in the sky.
