Elizabeth + Drew | Mill City Museum Wedding Photographer

Wow!  What an amazing fall shoot this was with the ever charismatic Drew and the ever exuberant Elizabeth!  The couple flew home from Manhattan a few days ago to spend time with their families and to knock out some wedding stuff.  I'm sure both Elizabeth and Drew are no strangers of being in front of the camera or center of attention (Drew the Broadway musical composer and Elizabeth the Off-Broadway actress, dancer, and singer) but this was just them being them and I was merely a fly on the wall.  Elizabeth and Drew are getting married next October back here in Minneapolis at the Mill City Museum.  Joan Nilsen with Ambiente Wedding & Event Planning will be leading us through the day and the planning process.  I think I speak for us all that this will no doubt be an amazing wedding and celebration!  Thanks so much Elizabeth and Drew for placing your trust in Graddy Photography as your Minneapolis wedding photographer!  See ya next fall!

Cruise | Best Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

Jared and Stephanie tied the knot last Saturday here in Minneapolis, Minnesota surrounded by many of their close family and friends.  We started the day at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Minneapolis and then headed over to Bohemian Flats for the ceremony and boat cruise with Paradise Charters.  The ceremony took place at the outdoor pavilion and shortly thereafter the guests loaded the charter cruise on the Mississippi River.  What a great way for family and friends to celebrate their union.  Thanks guys, it was a true pleasure working with both of you!

Vista | Best MN Wedding Photographer

This past Saturday Andrea and Justin tied the knot at St. Hubert's Catholic Church in Chanhassen with their reception following at the Hilton Airport in Richfield, Minnesota.  The summer weather was certainly here for this early June wedding but we love it!  Thanks so much Andrea and Justin, it was a pleasure to work with you both and wishing you two nothing but the very best!

Reflect | Best Minneapolis Photographer

This year has been a whirlwind once again and a little piece of press to show for it.  We are thankful to have Amanda + Kurt's wedding published in the most recent copy of Minnesota Bride magazine.  Also, we had a special feature from a wedding we covered at Carlos Creek Winery a couple short years ago.  So looking forward, we are booking weddings for 2017 as well as 2018.  Limited dates left available for 2017 so be sure to check in soon before we are at capacity!

Breeze | Loews Minneapolis Wedding Photos

This past Saturday Graddy Photography was in Minneapolis to cover Leslie and Taylor's wedding.  Picture perfect spring wedding...pardon the pun!  The weather was sunny and reaching 80.  The day started off with getting ready photos at Loew's Hotel in Minneapolis then it was onto Lourdes Church.  What an amazing venue for a spring wedding.  From there, we headed around Minneapolis for some wedding party photos and finally back to Loew's  for their reception.  Everything was flawlessly planned by the one and only Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions Weddings....if you don't know, you should, simply the best wedding planner in Minneapolis and we are lucky to have her!  Thanks so much Leslie and Taylor you guys had a perfect wedding and we feel thankful to have played a small role in your big day!

We are super excited to be a top 3 finalist for our 5th year in a row for the "Best Photography" award and for our 4th year for "Top of the Tiara/Best Overall Vendor in the MN Wedding Industry" award! Sparkle | Brainerd Wedding Photographer

Well well this was a fun one!  Chad & Michelle's epic wedding took place this past Sunday in Michelle's hometown of Pipestone, Minnesota.  The couple decided to have their wedding at Michelle's old family home and what an amazing place for it to take place!  To say that we adore these guys is an understatement and feel so honored to have played a small part in their big day.  The wedding was well orchestrated by Lisa of Johnny and Dottie event planning.....you are so great to work with and hope we have the opportunity to do so again in the future.  Have a safe trip back to Oregon guys and if you are ever in town, don't be a stranger!  Maybe I'll have our shirts made up by then...."NOT MY FIRST RODEO - Graddy Photography"

Infinity | The Wilds Wedding Photos

This past Friday Graddy Photography had the honor of covering Kyle & Alyssa's wedding.  What a great time we had working with this couple.  We have been looking forward to covering their wedding ever since we met with them last year.  We started the day at Alyssa's parent's home (her childhood home) for some getting ready shots and then headed over to their church in Marystown, on the outskirts of Shakopee.  Once again, we were paired up with Jeff from Northern Lights Video who is an amazing artist and professional in every sense of the word.  We highly recommend him if you are thinking of hiring wedding videography.     After the ceremony we headed over to Prior Lake for some wedding party photos and then onto The Wilds for the reception.  Thanks so incredibly much for choosing Graddy Photography guys, we are so humbled! Reign | Minnesota Best Wedding Photographer

Holy Moly!!!  We did it once again.....Graddy Photography was named Best Photography in 2013 by Minnesota Bride magazine!  What an honor it was to be named Best Photographers in the Twin Cities metro area.  Needless to say this is a highly coveted award in an ultra competitive and saturated market!  We are proud to be mentioned alongside other amazing photographers and are proud to represent the Minneapolis wedding market.  This is Graddy Photography's third consecutive year being named Minnesota Bride magazine's Best Photography, an honor not yet replicated.  The event was held at Aria at the Jeune Lune and was attended by a ton of vendors and friends.  Graddy Photography was up for two awards, one being Best Photography and the other, Best Overall Vendor.  Now, while we did not take home Best Overall Vendor it was a great honor to be nominated and listed with such a classy group of professionals.  We are also so very proud of some of our closer vendor friends such as Grand View Lodge for winning Best Honeymoon, Renee's Royal Valet for Best Transportation, Lasting Impressions Wedding and Event Coordination for Best Planner, Instant Request for Best DJ, and The Saint Paul Hotel for Best Wedding-Night Hotel.  We want to sincerely thank all or family, friends, peers, and vendors for placing your trust and confidence in Graddy Photography, we are extremely grateful.  For those of you all who are familiar with our studio, there is a tremendous amount of hard work and constant dedication that goes into making our studio such a great success.  From personalized attention to detail to strong communication skills, we put our best foot forward to provide unparalleled customer service in the industry and apparently it's paying off!  Thanks once again Minnesota Bride magazine for hosting such a great event and of course all those who believe in our body of work!  Cheers!

Everlasting | Semple Mansion Wedding Pictures

Yesterday Graddy Photography covered Mani & Erick's amazing wedding at the Semple Mansion in Minneapolis.  The day was a great success thanks in large part to all the amazing vendors that made this day what it was, Lasting Impressions, Sadie's Couture Floral, and Instant Request to name a few.  Let's not forget Katherine at the Semple mansion who always does such a wonderful job in creating a perfect day for everyone.  The weather was decent for the first half of the day while we did wedding party pictures outside.  Leading up to the ceremony the ever-present rain decided to say hello once again and then cleared up later in the evening.  Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography as your Minneapolis wedding photographer.  We wish you both the very best!

Rain | Semple Mansion Wedding Photos

This past Friday Graddy Photography covered Amy & Kevin's wedding at the Semple Mansion in Minneapolis.  The couple was in good spirits despite the early snowfall.....yep snow in May.  The Semple Mansion provided a safe refuge from the weather and we absolutely lover shooting inside the Semple Mansion.  It was great to see some familiar faces in the audience from some former wedding clients from 2007 and 2008.  The setting was perfect thanks to the likes of Ashley Fox Designs providing the elegant flowers and Victorian Party Rentals showcasing their table centerpieces.  All in all it was a major success and we are extremely thankful that you guys chose Graddy Photography.  Have a great honeymoon in Turks & Caicos!

Historic | Landmark Center Wedding Photography

This past Saturday Graddy Photography kicked off our 2013 year shooting Anne & Paul's winter wedding at The Landmark Center in St. Paul.  The Landmark Center never gets old, we LOVE shooting there.  It's nice that Rice Park is right out the front door too for wedding party pictures.  Of course we took advantage of doing some night shots in Rice Park with all the holiday lights.  Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography guys, we had a great time and wish you both the best!  Have fun in Ocho Rios, Jamaica!

Skin | Twin Cities Wedding Photographer

Amy & Jeff were married this past Saturday at the Stillwater Public Library in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota.  The weather seriously couldn't have been any better and Sadie's Couture Floral & Event Styling Minneapolis provided the amazing floral arrangements.  Let's not forget that it was meticulously planned by media file other than Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions Weddings.  We love working with Sarah, she always does an amazing job and is the best at what she does.  After the ceremony the wedding party headed down to The Freight House for some photos and drinks.  From there, the reception was held at Dellwood Hills in Dellwood.  The couple did an amazing job picking out the decor for the wedding.  Of course we have to give Instant Request credit for the amazing uplighting.  Amy & Jeff were an absolute blast to work with and we wish you guys the very best.  Well, might as well throw a plug in for Jeff's band, 3 Pill Morning.  Here's a link to there new video "Skin" which will soon air on MTV.  Thanks for choosing Graddy Photography!

Ice | Minikahda Wedding Photos

WOW!  What an amazing start to another great year at Graddy Photography!  We are so thrilled to have covered the wedding of Amara & Tom Abood.  What can I say, this was a wedding to remember.  Where to start.....hmmmmm?  Well the day started off at Minikahda Club in Minneapolis with the girls getting ready.  Upon arriving we were met by Nicole & Nicole with big smiles.  Nicole, the catering manager of Minikahda and Nicole Sellers of Mother of the Bride.  Nicole Sellers was hired as the day-of coordinator and we are all thankful she was there.  After the getting ready photos we stepped outside to get some wedding party shots and some shots of Amara in her amazing Vera Wang dress.  From there, we headed over to get some of the guys getting ready at the Minneapolis Club in downtown.  Next, it was off to St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel on the St. Thomas campus off Summit Ave. in St. Paul, Minnesota.  The walkway was lighted by handmade ice luminaries to go along with the winter ice theme.  The other handmade luminaries lined the driveway up to Minikahda.  Those were all handmade by the bride & groom, talk about DIY........can you say freezing, cold hands.  St. Thomas Chapel provided a warm, intimate setting for the wedding itself.  After the ceremony, the couple raced out to their bus with the wedding party to make their way to The Minikahda Club.  After getting some amazing shots of the room in all its grander, I popped over to say hi to Nate from Instant Request.  We LOVE working with Nate, he's the best.  Needless to say, it was the All-Star cast!  After the first dance, we head some great speeches given by the brother of the bride and the brother of the groom.  Finally, it was time to grab drink after dinner from the ice bar located out on the patio (pictures to follow).  Ice bar, vodka, heat lamps, nice fire, and family & friends.....a great way to warm up a cool February night!  Thanks so much for everything Amara & Tom!  We had a great time working with you two and enjoy your honeymoon in Maui!
