This past Sunday Jaclyn and Matt tied the knot at Abulae in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. We are starting to become fairly familiar with Abulae seeing as we have shot three weddings here in as many months. First off, THANK YOU! Thank you for including and welcoming Graddy Photography to be a part of your big day....we truly appreciate it! Next, we have to say thanks so much to our good friend Joan with Ambiente Wedding + Event Planning for putting together such an illustrious wedding and being there for every little thing. Joan is one of the most consummate professionals in the business and second to media file when it comes to creating decor masterpieces. She's an amazing talent and we are proud to call her our friend! Finally thanks to the couple and both their families. Well well! What an amazing wedding to have as our 1,000th post since January of 2012....we've been a little busy here at Graddy Photography! So here we go! Haley & Matt tied the knot this past Friday at the James J. Hill Library in downtown St. Paul. This was an event packed day stretching from one side of Rice park to the other. The reception was to take place at the Landmark Center a half block away. Also, the girls were getting makeup done at The Saint Paul Hotel and the guys getting ready at Heimie's Haberdashery. So from the start we had some logistics to figure out. No one person better suited for that than the fabulous Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions Weddings. Not only organizing this one to a "T", she also put together an All-Star cast of vendors namely Sadie's Couture Floral, Virtuoso Video, Instant Request, and Apres. So if Matt looks familiar to you, then you might be a Vikings fan! #75 starting tackle from USC! And his beautiful bride, well that's Hailey O'Brien, Miss Minnesota USA 2014! These guys were so cool to work with and it was a pleasure to just get to know them a little better. This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Dani & Brady's wedding at the amazing A'BULAE in downtown St. Paul. This was such a cool venue and with the rooftop ceremony spot, this place is unreal! We started the day with getting ready there and then down to Mears Park for some wedding party shots. After the ceremony, the wedding party made it over to St. Thomas for a group shot under the arches and then it was off to the baseball field to relive some old memories. Brady and a couple of his groomsman were team mates on the 2009 National Championship Team.....pretty awesome! Finally, back to A'Bulae for the reception! This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Lisa & Greg's amazing fall wedding at 317 on Rice in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. The day started with getting ready photos at The Saint Paul Hotel and then the couples first sight in Rice Park. From there, we did some wedding parry shots and then headed back to 317 on Rice for the ceremony. After the ceremony we headed down to Irvine Park in St. Paul for some additional photos and then a stop off at the Happy Gnome for a quick cheers! Finally, back to 317 for an amazing celebration. July 11th was a huge day for Graddy Photography as we won our second consecutive "Best Photography" award from Minnesota Bride magazine. Words cannot express our joy and gratitude for the award and what it represents. We sincerely would like to thank all our faithful followers for voting. The celebration took place at the Swedish Institute of Minnesota and was hosted by media file other than the amazing Bill Hermann of Bill Hermann Entertainment who did a fantastic job! It was great to see all of you from Minnesota Bride magazine, you guys always do such an amazing job!
Thank you to our friends, family, peers, and fans.....without you guys we wouldn't be where we are at today! We would also like to congratulate all the other amazing Minnesota vendors that we nominated and those who won in their respective categories. Minnesota has an amazing wedding industry comprised of many respectable businesses that are dedicated to their professions. Peacock | Landmark Center Wedding Pictures
This past weekend Graddy Photography covered Amanda & David's wedding in St. Paul, Minnesota. The day was once again warm but not in the mid-90's so really no complaining here. The ceremony took place at Irvine Park in St. Paul with the reception to follow at the Landmark Center right next to Rice Park in downtown St. Paul. It was nice to see some familiar faces of former clients, Andy & Robin! It was also a blast to work alongside Adam of Virtuoso Video. Virtuoso Video is my opinion is one of the very best videographers in the Twin Cities area and is a no-brainer when it comes to hiring a videographer. Also, with Bill Hermann of Bill Hermann Entertainment being the Master of Ceremonies, it was a grand wedding all around. Of course the wedding couple was amazing to work with and we enjoyed every minute of it! Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography. Have a great honeymoon!
