This past August 12th Graddy Photography was on-location in Brainerd, Minnesota for Erin and Ross's big day!  The ceremony took place at the bride's private residence on East Gull Lake with the reception to follow at Madden's Resort.  It was a star-studded cast of A-list vendors that made it up to play their part in the wedding.  Sarah Trotter with lasting Impressions Wedding & Event Planning was at the helm to coordinate and align this fabulous team that has worked so many amazing weddings together in the past.  We are incredibly thankful to have played a small role in Erin and Ross's wedding day.  You guys had a perfect summer wedding and we wish you both all the absolute best!

Celebrate | Best Wedding Photographer in Minnesota

Lucky number seven! This year we were given the award for “Best Photography” for our seventh consecutive year!  We are so incredibly honored and still excited from finding out the news back in July! The Minnesota Bride magazine awards are hosted every year and out of the hundreds of vendors in each category, three are nominated for each award as voted by past wedding couples and vendors in the industry. Thousands of votes are tallied and the nominees are announced in the spring……..its such an exciting time and just being nominated is really such an amazing honor. Remembrance | Grand View Lodge Wedding Photos

Just when I thought I'd have seen it all as a wedding photographer...enter Caitlin and Zach!  I guess I am most astonished at the fact that Caitlin wore her Mother's wedding dress with elements of her Grandmother's sewn into it....just goes to show what a sentimental and amazing person Caitlin is.  Zach, he's a pretty good guy too :)  We started the day with getting ready photos at her parents residence in Pequot Lakes with the ceremony soon following at St. Christopher's in downtown Nisswa, Minnesota.  After the ceremony we headed to Grand View Lodge for the reception and happy hour cruise.  Did I say cruise...well it was pretty much a cruise ship on Gull Lake, just take look!  After the amazing voyage around the lake we ended up at their reception in the Heritage Room at Grand View Lodge.  Pretty much a perfect wedding, all that needs to be said really.  So, THANK YOU Caitlin and Zach, what an incredible experience for me personally to be with you on your wedding day!  Cheers to many years of happy marriage, health, and success!

Well here we are, Meredith and James epic Grand View Lodge wedding!  Meredith & James tied the knot this past Sunday at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota.  The weather for late May was perfect, 82 degrees with a slight breeze.  The couple had their wedding in the vineyard with the reception following at the newly remodeled Norway Room.  This was such a sweet ceremony full of plenty of laughs and tears.  Thanks so much Meredith & James for your amazing hospitality and friendship, your were so great to work with, your families too :)  We wish you both the very best...cheers!

Mutual | Grand View Lodge Weddings

This past weekend Graddy Photography made the trip up to the Brainerd area to cover Kelli & Jack's wedding at Grand View Lodge.  Needless to say it was familiar territory for us to shoot!  We had such a great time working with Kelli & Jack who are both employees at Grand View Lodge, different departments of course!  The weather was absolutely amazing....should have been golfing instead of getting married right Jack!  Thanks so much for letting be a part of your big day, we look forward to seeing you guys agin in the future and congrats once again, you guys are the best!  Graddy Photography is a Minneapolis/St.Paul based wedding photography studio available for travel to the Brainerd lakes resort area.  

Pinecones | Grand View Lodge Wedding Pictures

Well this past week Graddy Photography made the trek uo to Grand View Lodge to photography Sandra & Matt's Minnesota destination wedding.  We couldn't think of a better place to have an authentic Northwoods wedding.  The weather was a perfect 75 degrees and sunny, not bad considering the kind of early summer we have had.  The ceremony took place right on the grounds with a full service and the couple giving and receiving communion.  After the ceremony it was onto the Norway Center for the reception.  Plenty of good speeches, dancing , & drinking entailed!  Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography to cover your wedding at Grand View Lodge.  It was great working with the both of you and wish you the very best in the future!

Fireworks | Grand View Lodge Wedding Photos

This past Saturday was an eventful day to say the least.  Graddy Photography was up bright and early and ready to go to shoot Jennifer & Cris's wedding at the amazing Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota right next to Brainerd.  Grand View Lodge is one our favorite places to shoot weddings.  As a matter of fact we will be shooting four weddings up there next year as of now.  Jennifer & Cris planned their wedding perfectly with a little help from the accomplished Nicole Sellers of Mother of the Bride event planning.  It always nice working with such a consummate professional who keeps everything on time and is always relaxed and calm.  The couple wrapped up with dinner by inviting their guests down to the beach for a little surprise......a fireworks show!  Thanks so much for including Graddy Photography in your wedding day plans, we are so thankful.  Also thanks to Nicki & Sarah, friends of mine from high school who referred their cousin Jennifer to us.
