Lucky number seven! This year we were given the award for “Best Photography” for our seventh consecutive year!  We are so incredibly honored and still excited from finding out the news back in July! The Minnesota Bride magazine awards are hosted every year and out of the hundreds of vendors in each category, three are nominated for each award as voted by past wedding couples and vendors in the industry. Thousands of votes are tallied and the nominees are announced in the spring……..its such an exciting time and just being nominated is really such an amazing honor. Sparkle | Best MN Wedding Photographer

Haley & Matt tied the knot this past July at the James J. Hill Library in downtown St. Paul.  This was an event packed day stretching from one side of Rice park to the other.  The reception was to take place at the Landmark Center a half block away.  Also, the girls were getting makeup done at The Saint Paul Hotel and the guys getting ready at Heimie’s Haberdashery.  So from the start we had some logistics to figure out.  No one person better suited for that than the fabulous Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions Weddings.  Not only organizing this one to a “T”, she also put together an All-Star cast of vendors namely Sadie’s Couture Floral, Virtuoso Video, Instant Request, and Apres. So if Matt looks familiar to you, then you might be a Vikings fan!  #75 starting tackle from USC!  And his beautiful bride, well that’s Hailey O’Brien, Miss Minnesota USA 2014!  These guys were so cool to work with and it was a pleasure to just get to know them a little better.  Thank you so much for choosing Graddy Photography as your Twin Cities wedding photographer, we are humbled and honored to have played a small role in your epic day!

This year has been a whirlwind once again and a little piece of press to show for it.  We are thankful to have Amanda + Kurt's wedding published in the most recent copy of Minnesota Bride magazine.  Also, we had a special feature from a wedding we covered at Carlos Creek Winery a couple short years ago.  So looking forward, we are booking weddings for 2017 as well as 2018.  Limited dates left available for 2017 so be sure to check in soon before we are at capacity!

Be sure to pick up the latest copy of Central Minnesota Brides magazine, it's pretty amazing!  This is our featured wedding from last June at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota.  Graddy Photography is a Minneapolis wedding photographer who frequently travels to Brainerd area lakes many times throughout the year to document many fabulous weddings.

This spring Graddy Photography and Grand View Lodge teamed up once again to create the ever impressive Grand View Dining Guide which features all the amazing restaurants and menu items.  We of course had a blast shooting all these wonderful dishes and of course sampling a few.  Be sure to swing into CRU and grab a BLT salad with candied bacon....yum!  Another big hit is the Duck and Waffle at the Lodge Dining Room and let's not forget the 20 oz. bone-in Ribeye!  If your hanging out by the beach make sure to grab some Mahi Mahi tacos or the Shrimp Po Boy.  Thanks so much everybody at Grand View Lodge for your hospitality and friendship, we look forward to many years of continued friendship and success!

This past Friday Graddy Photography attended the MN StarAwards ceremony presented by ISES.  Bon Appetit catering along with Carlson Center Events and Graddy Photography teamed up to present the Best New Specialty Item.  A very special thanks to Dawn Crawford for placing her trust in Graddy Photography and thanks to mazing chefs of Bon Appetit catering to create such amazing dishes.  Graddy Photography is a Twin Cities commercial photographer based out of Minneapolis.

The Readers’ Choice Best Of Awards honoring the cream of the crop in the regional meetings and events industry. Featuring outstanding venues, attractions, resources and suppliers in the state’s meetings and events industry. The winners will be revealed at an awards celebration on March 20th whereparty attendees will be the first to see the Spring issue of Minnesota Meetings + Events magazine.

This year there were 1206 votes tallied, and the winners are kept secret until the Best Of celebration on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at The Minneapolis Event Center from 6:00 pm to 9:00p.m. We expect 450+ meeting planners and industry professionals to be in attendance. Holy Moly!!!  We did it once again.....Graddy Photography was named Best Photography in 2013 by Minnesota Bride magazine!  What an honor it was to be named Best Photographers in the Twin Cities metro area.  Needless to say this is a highly coveted award in an ultra competitive and saturated market!  We are proud to be mentioned alongside other amazing photographers and are proud to represent the Minneapolis wedding market.  This is Graddy Photography's third consecutive year being named Minnesota Bride magazine's Best Photography, an honor not yet replicated.  The event was held at Aria at the Jeune Lune and was attended by a ton of vendors and friends.  Graddy Photography was up for two awards, one being Best Photography and the other, Best Overall Vendor.  Now, while we did not take home Best Overall Vendor it was a great honor to be nominated and listed with such a classy group of professionals.  We are also so very proud of some of our closer vendor friends such as Grand View Lodge for winning Best Honeymoon, Renee's Royal Valet for Best Transportation, Lasting Impressions Wedding and Event Coordination for Best Planner, Instant Request for Best DJ, and The Saint Paul Hotel for Best Wedding-Night Hotel.  We want to sincerely thank all or family, friends, peers, and vendors for placing your trust and confidence in Graddy Photography, we are extremely grateful.  For those of you all who are familiar with our studio, there is a tremendous amount of hard work and constant dedication that goes into making our studio such a great success.  From personalized attention to detail to strong communication skills, we put our best foot forward to provide unparalleled customer service in the industry and apparently it's paying off!  Thanks once again Minnesota Bride magazine for hosting such a great event and of course all those who believe in our body of work!  Cheers!

Well it's finally here and it's LIVE!!!  Never thought I would see the day quite honestly, there were a lot of bumps and turns that could have sidelined this new site.  This is the accumulation of two full years of planning, conceptualizing, & most important of all; executing.  We're very proud of the direction we are heading.  We would like to thank all those responsible for making this business venture a reality and a very special thanks to Frank Soukup (Director of Marketing, Grand View Lodge) who instilled his trust in us early on and let us flourish.  We consider Frank a mentor and good friend and we look forward to many years of continued success and friendship.  For the rest of the faithful clients, you know who you are, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!  Please take a look a the new site and leave a comment and let us know what you think!
