This past November 4th, April and Greg tied the knot in downtown St. Paul at the James J. Hill Library. The year is coming close to an end and it was so great to work at a familiar venue with the amazing staff. Look | Cathedral of St. Paul Wedding Photos
This past June 18th, Graddy Photography covered Ashley + Will's wedding at the amazing Cathedral of St. Paul. We absolutely love shooting here, so beautiful! We started the day with some photos of Ashley and her girls and then it was right into the ceremony. After the kiss and a walk back down the aisle as a married couple, we headed to the front steps of the cathedral for some shots. Then it was onto the James J. Hill Library in downtown St. Paul right next to Rice Park. This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Erin & Nick's wedding at the James J. Hill Library in downtown St. Paul. It was fairly decent weather and always nice to be in the Rice Park area in the spring. This is our first time this year shooting at the James J. Hill Library. This past Friday Graddy Photography covered Mike & Theresa's wedding at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in St. Paul, Minnesota with their reception following at the James J. Hill Library in downtown St. Paul. They weather was fairly warm and very windy but that didn't deter us from getting some great shots at Irvine Park. Once again the James J. Spotlight | James J Hill Library Wedding Photos
Well it's finally here.....Stephanie & Zach's wedding! We have loved working with these guys from day one and love their support for our photography! We started the day with a couple quick shot at The Saint Paul Hotel and then made it over to Rice Park for the couple's first look. From there, we did some wedding party pictures and some of just the couple. A bit of drama as Stephanie accidentally forgot her purse and someone walked off with it.....very sad and frustrating. However, the groom and a couple groomsman did a good job "interrogating" a few usual suspects and were able to recover her new Iphone at least. The real bummer was that the bride's grandmother's ring was in her purse and she was to tie that to her bouquet. We're holding out hope that all belongings will be recovered. Other than that, it was an amazing day with a great celebration at the James J. Hill Library. Forever | Saint Paul Hotel Wedding Photos
This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Sarah & Charles's wedding in St. Paul, MN. The day started off with some getting ready pictures at The Saint Paul Hotel and shortly thereafter it was time for the couples first sight in Rice Park. With rain in the forecast for much of the morning, it didn't look like things would clear up but low and behold, the clouds broke and the sun came out shining! This wedding here had all the elements of a perfect wedding day with plenty of great photo opportunities and lots of emotion and love. It was a real pleasure to work alongside the amazing John Hoel of Vibrant Film who single-handedly, in my opinion, is one of the most talented professionals in the business. The ceremony was held at Church of St. Louis, King of France off Cedar Street in St. Paul. After the ceremony, the couple rented a trolley from Renee's Royal Valet for the afternoon to hit up some bars and photo locations. We first headed down to Mears Park and then onto Rice Park. We had a great time working with the amazing wedding party! Finally, the reception was held in the main ballroom of The Saint Paul Hotel. With Instant Request covering the music, you know it was going to be a great time. What can I say, this was a rockstar wedding and I was very proud to be a part of it. It was an absolute blast working with you guys, Sarah & Charles. We wish you both the very best and look forward to seeing you guys again!
