Aria | Jeune Lune Wedding Pictures

Well you want to see what an amazing Minneapolis wedding looks like....look right here at Julie & Kyle's wedding!  We have been anticipating this wedding for quite  awhile and why not, Julie is one of the sweetest, endearing persons we have ever worked with and Kyle was such a cool customer.  We started the day with getting ready pictures at The Hotel Minneapolis with make-up application done by Brett Dorian  Artistry Studios.  From there, we headed over to St. Mark's Church in Minneapolis for the couples first sight and family pictures.  After the ceremony, the couple headed over to Loring Park for some creative wedding party photos and shots of the newly married couple.  Then, it was onto Aria at the Jeune Lune for an amazing celebration.  The Jeune Lune is simply NUTS....this venue rocks!  It provided a perfect setting for a perfect wedding!  If your looking for a downtown warehouse wedding, this is it!  The vendor team of this event was top notch and we were more than thrilled to have worked with so many talented professionals such as Sarah Trotter with Lasting Impressions Wedding & Event Coordination, Adam and Melissa with Virtuoso Video, Gateaux with the cake, Chowgirls Killer Catering, Brett Dorian Artistry Studios, Instant Request,  and Just Bloomed!  On another note, if you hockey fans see some familiar faces then your right....Kyle Turris is a pro NHL centre for the Ottawa Senators....pretty crazy huh?  Needless to say there were many other Senators there as well as some Devils and Rangers.....all a great bunch!  Lastly, we wanted to express our sincere gratitude that you chose Graddy Photography to document your extraordinary day, you guys are real sweethearts.  I think I speak for all of us vendors but you guys are perfect together and we wish you both many years of happiness and success!

Spotlight | James J Hill Library Wedding Photos

Well it's finally here.....Stephanie & Zach's wedding!  We have loved working with these guys from day one and love their support for our photography!  We started the day with a couple quick shot at The Saint Paul Hotel and then made it over to Rice Park for the couple's first look.  From there, we did some wedding party pictures and some of just the couple.  A bit of drama as Stephanie accidentally forgot her purse and someone walked off with it.....very sad and frustrating.  However, the groom and a couple groomsman did a good job "interrogating" a few usual suspects and were able to recover her new Iphone at least.  The real bummer was that the bride's grandmother's ring was in her purse and she was to tie that to her bouquet.  We're holding out hope that all belongings will be recovered.  Other than that, it was an amazing day with a great celebration at the James J. Reign | Minnesota Best Wedding Photographer

Holy Moly!!!  We did it once again.....Graddy Photography was named Best Photography in 2013 by Minnesota Bride magazine!  What an honor it was to be named Best Photographers in the Twin Cities metro area.  Needless to say this is a highly coveted award in an ultra competitive and saturated market!  We are proud to be mentioned alongside other amazing photographers and are proud to represent the Minneapolis wedding market.  This is Graddy Photography's third consecutive year being named Minnesota Bride magazine's Best Photography, an honor not yet replicated.  The event was held at Aria at the Jeune Lune and was attended by a ton of vendors and friends.  Graddy Photography was up for two awards, one being Best Photography and the other, Best Overall Vendor.  Now, while we did not take home Best Overall Vendor it was a great honor to be nominated and listed with such a classy group of professionals.  We are also so very proud of some of our closer vendor friends such as Grand View Lodge for winning Best Honeymoon, Renee's Royal Valet for Best Transportation, Lasting Impressions Wedding and Event Coordination for Best Planner, Instant Request for Best DJ, and The Saint Paul Hotel for Best Wedding-Night Hotel.  We want to sincerely thank all or family, friends, peers, and vendors for placing your trust and confidence in Graddy Photography, we are extremely grateful.  For those of you all who are familiar with our studio, there is a tremendous amount of hard work and constant dedication that goes into making our studio such a great success.  From personalized attention to detail to strong communication skills, we put our best foot forward to provide unparalleled customer service in the industry and apparently it's paying off!  Thanks once again Minnesota Bride magazine for hosting such a great event and of course all those who believe in our body of work!  Cheers!

Skyline | Minneapolis City Hall Wedding Pictures

This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Chris & Tara's wedding at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis with the reception following at the Minneapolis City Hall.  It's been a few years since we have shot at Central Lutheran Church but what a beautiful venue.  We started the day off there with some getting ready pictures, then the couple's first sight.  From there, we headed down to Saint Anthony Main and the Stone Arch Bridge for some wedding party pictures.  After that we headed back to the church for the ceremony.  The couple had their pastor from Hosanna in Lakeville come to marry them at the church.  Of course I'm speaking of the amazing Bill Bohline, head pastor of Hosanna!  The couple had an great send off by guests at the church and then it was onto Brit's Pub in downtown Minneapolis for some well deserved drinks!  Finally, we all made it back to the Minneapolis City Hall where we did some shots with the couple before their announcement into the reception.  Well, what can we say......it was an absolute honor and privilege to cover your guy's wedding.  We have had a great time meeting your family and of course some of your great circle of friends.  We wish you both the very best in life and happiness!

Real | Landmark Center Wedding Pictures

This past Friday Graddy Photography captured Nikki & Travis's amazing St. Paul wedding!  The ceremony and reception took place at media file other than The Landmark Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.  We started the day with getting ready photos at The Saint Paul Hotel and then first sight in Rice Park.  From there, we headed over to Minnehaha Falls for some creative couple's shots and wedding party pictures.  After that, it was back to The Landmark Center for the ceremony and reception.  The day couldn't have gone any better planned thanks in large part to Lasting Impressions Wedding  & Event Coordination.  Also, our good friends at Virtuoso Video were on site to capture all the video of the day....always a real treat!  Thanks Nikki & Travis for choosing Graddy Photography as your St. Paul wedding photographer.....we wish you two the very best!

This past Saturday Graddy Photography photographed Katelyn & Brian's wedding.  It was a great pleasure to cover Katelyn's wedding, she is one of my sister-in-liaws best friends and was actually a bridesmaid in her wedding.  So, that's where we met Katelyn, at Sarah & Noah's wedding in Puerto Vallarta a little over two years ago.  The ceremony was at Nativity of Our Lord in St. Paul with the reception at the always fabulous James J. So we thought we would quick post a sneak peek of Christel & Shaun's wedding weekend photos of their rented property on Lake Waconia.  It was a 4th of July weekend celebration where all the guests stayed at the house and spent time hanging out in the amazingly decorated backyard and lake!  Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography and we had a great time getting to know you guys!

Yellow | Grand View Lodge Wedding Photos

Well well here we are!  Courtney & John's amazing Grand View Lodge wedding.  What could be better than shooting in the Minnesota northwoods in the summer and having it be 80 degress and sunny.  Match that with an azaming couple and guests and you have a perfect wedding!  The day started off with getting ready pictures in the Gull Lake Center and then onto the couple's first sight.  From there, we headed around the resort for some great photo ops.  After that, the ceremony took palce next to the grand staircase with the reception to follow in the Gull Lake Room.  This was our fourth and final wedding of the year at Grand View Lodge and we will certainly miss it!  We cannot thank you guys enough for choosing Graddy Photography as your Brainerd wedding photographer, it was awesome!

Love | Calhoun Beach Club Wedding Pictures

Well this past Friday was Megan & Michael's wedding!  We started the day with some getting ready pictures at the Calhoun Beach Club and from there we headed over to Loring Park to get some wedding party pictures.  After Loring Park, we headed directly over to the Basilica of St. Mary where the ceremony was to take place.  The ceremony went great and then the large group picture on the front steps was in order.  Finally, it was off to Calhoun beach Club for the couple's amazing reception.  Instant Request provided the DJ services as well as Wisteria with all the amazing floral arrangements.  Thanks so much Meagan and Michael for choosing Graddy Photography as your Minneapolis wedding photographer.  We wish you both the very best!

M & M | Grand View Lodge Wedding Photos

This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Mikayla & Mike's wedding at the one and only Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota.  Grand View Lodge always provides such an amazing backdrop for a Minnesota north woods wedding.  Most of Mikayla and Mike's guests were from New York City, L.A., & Chicago so they chose Grand View Lodge in central Minnesota to create a genuine MN wedding experience.  Mikayla and her family have strong ties to the Brainerd Area of lakes as they have had a family cabin in the area for many years.  The ceremony took place in Grand View Lodge's new ceremony site located directly behind Italian Gardens restaurant.  The ceremony site was decorated beautifully by the wonderful Bloom Designs out of Brainerd.  After the ceremony the guests made it over to the Gull Lake Center for the wedding reception.  Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography, it was a real pleasure working with you both and all your amazing guests.....you guys nailed it!  Congrats once again and cheers!

Garden | MN Landscape Arboretum Wedding

This 4th of July was an eventful one with Christel & Shaun's wedding taking place at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen.  The weather was perfect for the 4th reaching into the 90's.  Christel & Shaun planned an amazing wedding by renting a lake home on Lake Waconia for the reception.  The planning and preparation for this wedding was unreal as was Christel's amazing custom wedding dress by media file other than Joynoelle.  Graddy Photography had a great time working alongside the likes of Julie Swenson Beauty and Princess Bride Videography and finally Debbie Tonkin who helped plan this wedding a make it the success that it was.  Thanks so much Christel & Shaun, you guys certainly know how to make a wedding weekend amazing!  We wish you both the very best!

Wish | Hope Glen Farm Wedding Photographer

This past week Graddy Photography started the holiday wedding weekend with Jen & Matt's wedding at the Hope Glen Farm in Cottage Grove.  What an amazing rustic setting for a wedding.  Hope Glen Farm is in their first year of business and is quickly becoming booked for the entire year and next.  We totally recommend this great venue just outside the Twin Cities.  A Vintage Touch out of Prior Lake provided all the amazing decor and lounge furniture.    Jen & Matt have quite the story having been previously engaged many years ago and then rekindling the flame many years later after connecting on Facebook.  Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography and we wish you family the very best!

Lantern | McNamara Alumni Center Wedding Pictures

This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Brigitte & Derek's wedding at the always amazing McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis.  The day started off with getting ready photos at McNamara and then heading out to downtown Minneapolis for some wedding party pictures.  From there, back to McNamara Alumni Center for some last minute touch ups and then the ceremony.  With the reception to follow shortly thereafter, the hall looked insane!  Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions and her amazing staff made sure everything was perfect.  The floral arrangements were that of La Petite Fleur, amazing job huh?!  Let's not forget DJ Nate of Instant Request providing the music.  Dinner and speeches led into the dance and the rest was history.....a perfect wedding!  Thanks so much Brigitte and Derek for choosing Graddy Photography as your Minneapolis wedding photographer.  We sincerely want to thank you for being so darn nice and giving us much praise for our work throughout the day!  You guys are the best!

Rachel & Luke | Depot Minneapolis Wedding Pictures

This past Friday Graddy Photography covered Rachel and Lucas's wedding at Mt. Olivet Church in Minneapolis with the reception to follow at the Depot Minneapolis.  The day started off with some getting ready photos at the hotel and then first sight on the Stone Arch Bridge.  From there it was off to the ceremony at the new chapel across the street from Mt. Everlasting | Semple Mansion Wedding Pictures
