Last Saturday Graddy Photography covered Erin & Daniel's wedding at the Semple Mansion in Minneapolis. As you can imagine, this wasn't our first time at The Semple Mansion this year but always amazing media file the less. This was actually our 51st and final wedding of 2013 and what a great couple and wedding to finish with. Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography guys, it was a great time!
This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Brigitte & Derek's wedding at the always amazing McNamara Alumni Center in Minneapolis. The day started off with getting ready photos at McNamara and then heading out to downtown Minneapolis for some wedding party pictures. From there, back to McNamara Alumni Center for some last minute touch ups and then the ceremony. With the reception to follow shortly thereafter, the hall looked insane! Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions and her amazing staff made sure everything was perfect. The floral arrangements were that of La Petite Fleur, amazing job huh?! Let's not forget DJ Nate of Instant Request providing the music. Dinner and speeches led into the dance and the rest was history.....a perfect wedding! We sincerely want to thank you for being so darn nice and giving us much praise for our work throughout the day! You guys are the best!
July 11th was a huge day for Graddy Photography as we won our second consecutive "Best Photography" award from Minnesota Bride magazine. Words cannot express our joy and gratitude for the award and what it represents. We sincerely would like to thank all our faithful followers for voting. The celebration took place at the Swedish Institute of Minnesota and was hosted by media file other than the amazing Bill Hermann of Bill Hermann Entertainment who did a fantastic job! It was great to see all of you from Minnesota Bride magazine, you guys always do such an amazing job!
Thank you to our friends, family, peers, and fans.....without you guys we wouldn't be where we are at today! We would also like to congratulate all the other amazing Minnesota vendors that we nominated and those who won in their respective categories. Minnesota has an amazing wedding industry comprised of many respectable businesses that are dedicated to their professions. We were super-thrilled to see some of our good friends win awards as well including Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions Wedding & Event Coordination, Frank, Maggie , & Cindy of Grand View Lodge for Best Honeymoon Destination, Matt & Jacob and the rest of the guys at Traveling Photo Booth (always a good time!), The Wedding Shoppe for Best Wedding Gowns on a Budget (less than $2,000), Mary Jo over at the St. Paul Hotel for Best Wedding-Night Hotel, and Jackie Just of Just Bloomed for Best Florist for the second year in a row! Also, who could forget Buttercream and Instant Request DJ-both are top notch in our books!
WOW! What an amazing wedding! Brandon & Kayla pulled off an amazing wedding and we were absolutely thrilled to be a part of their BIG day! Brandon is a good friend of Justin's from Mankato where they studied the same major. Brandon was actually a guest at our wedding seven years ago. Brandon contacted Graddy Photography as soon as they were engaged last year, luckily we were still available! Kayla is an absolute sweetheart and we have enjoyed getting to know her and them as a couple. They compliment each other very well and wish them only the best! The wedding took place at Our lady of Grace Church in Edina with the reception to follow at the Golden Valley Country Club. We made a little stop off to get some creative shots on the way to the reception. Luckily, the rain held off just long enough to get the shots we needed. We had a great time with the wedding party. There were some familiar faces in the crowd so that always make it easier. The couple made it back in time to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. After being announced in, the couple led into their first dance. The rest of the evening was a great celebration with family and friends.
