Retreat | Northern Minnesota Winter Resort

This past week Graddy Photography made it up to the Brainerd area of lakes for a photo shoot at Grand View Lodge.  The weather was perfect, in the 20's and no wind.  The night before there was a fresh snow which froze right to the trees making it perfect for photos.  We covered snowmobiling, romantic sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, and other winter activities.  Hopefully next time we will be able to do the dog-sledding.  Well, it was an amazing experience as usual and we look forward to the next time we're there.

Sleigh | Grand View Lodge Winter Photos

This past week Graddy Photography set out to catch some winter activities at the spectacular Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota.  Nisswa is located in the Brainerd area of lakes in central Minnesota.  Graddy Photography was very excited at the opportunity to provide our photography services to Grand View Lodge once again.  This was such an awesome experience shooting the sleigh ride.  This excursion couldn't have worked out more perfectly.  With rainy weather in the Twin Cities, we hurried up north to catch the last remnants of winter.  To our surprise, about 15 miles south of Brainerd, the rain had turned into snow which stuck directly to all the branches making it perfect for photos.  Grand View Lodge and Cru Restaurant (located at Grand View) have joined together to bring you this one of a kind winter experience!

Historic | Landmark Center Wedding Photography

This past Saturday Graddy Photography kicked off our 2013 year shooting Anne & Paul's winter wedding at The Landmark Center in St. Paul.  The Landmark Center never gets old, we LOVE shooting there.  It's nice that Rice Park is right out the front door too for wedding party pictures.  Of course we took advantage of doing some night shots in Rice Park with all the holiday lights.  Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography guys, we had a great time and wish you both the best!  Have fun in Ocho Rios, Jamaica!

Snow | Nicollet Island Inn Wedding Photos

This past Sunday Graddy Photography covered Ashlee & Brandon's wedding at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis.  This was our final wedding for 2012 and no better way to close out the year with such an amazing couple.  We had an absolute blast working with you both.  You guys are such a great couple and have been so great to us.  We appreciate your friendship and kindness in all respects and we look forward to seeing you guys again here soon.  Have a great time in Maui & Kauai.  Bring back some warm weather!

Companion | Park Plaza Wedding Photos

This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Lee & Alyssa's wedding in Excelsior, Minnesota.  The weather was decent for December so it was nice to get outside and take a couple indecent photos of the guys.  From there it was off to the Park Plaza in Bloomington for the reception.  The main ballroom at Park Plaza looked amazing.  They did an excellent job uplighting it and adding all the decor.  Thanks so much for choosing Graddy Photography and it was an honor to cover your wedding day.  You guys are very genuine, heartfelt people and I respect and admire you both......congrats!

Icicles | Brackett's Crossing Wedding Pictures

This past Friday Graddy Photography covered Jessie & Tim's wedding at the amazing Brackett's Crossing in Lakeville.  Jessie & Tim planned their perfect winter wedding to a T.  It was nice to be back at Brackett's Crossing Country Club once again.  It had only been since October seeing all the staff (some of the very best in the business we think).  Thanks so much Jess & Tim and congratulations once again, I had an awesome time working with you two!

Palladium | Semple Mansion Wedding Photos

This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Barb & Jim's wedding at the Semple Mansion.  Barb & Jim have been so amazing to work with and we are very thankful for their business.  Funny thing, Barb actually contacted us before she was actually engaged to have us do her wedding and as soon as she was engaged, she was on the phone with us shortly thereafter.  The Semple Mansion provided a beautiful setting for some getting ready pictures.  Then it was off to Mt. Olivet Church in Minneapolis for the ceremony itself.  After a great ceremony with lots of laughs, it was back to the Semple Mansion for the cocktail hour and reception.  Thanks so much once again Barb & Jim, I had a great time working with you both.  Great job to all the other vendors that made this wedding such a great success especially Instant Request (Nate) and Ashley Fox Designs for the flowers and arrangements.  Have a great honeymoon guys!

Throwback | Minneapolis Event Photographer

This past Friday Graddy Photography covered an event for Carval.  It was their annual Christmas party and this year it took place at The W in Minneapolis.  The party was themed around the year 1987.  Katie from Event Lab said she bought most of the memorabilia on Ebay and said she lost a lot of bids.  Never knew how one could be so devastated after losing a bid on a picture of Billy Idol....ha!  Thanks Event Lab - Minneapolis, see you all again in the coming year!
