Here's a few shots of some of the amazing items on the dinner menu at Cru which is located in the Gull Lake Center of Grand View Lodge. Cru Restaurant and Wine Bar features a vast cellar of over 2,000 bottles of worldly wines and offers over 20 wines by the glass. Cru’s unique fare uses local and regional flavors, prepared by the talented Chef de Cuisine Paul Fitzpatrick. At Cru, rich decor creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, providing the perfect dining experience for a romantic dinner or a casual get-together with friends. We absolutely love the food here and they are doing things right! Pictured below is the Wild Acres Duck Breast as well as the Orecchiette which is housemade italian sausage with swiss chard, white wine, & parmesan.....need we say more. This past Friday Graddy Photography covered an event for Carval. It was their annual Christmas party and this year it took place at The W in Minneapolis. The party was themed around the year 1987. Katie from Event Lab said she bought most of the memorabilia on Ebay and said she lost a lot of bids. Never knew how one could be so devastated after losing a bid on a picture of Billy Idol....ha! This past week was spent down at the amazing Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. Graddy Photography was asked to cover all their commercial photography which we gladly obliged. What a cool experience this was, to be riding on horseback at sunset from one ridge line to the next to get some of these unreal shots. This past week Graddy Photography was invited up to Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota to cover all the commercial photography for Glacial Waters Spa at Grand View Lodge along with Cru at Grand View Lodge. Cru is a French wine term meaning great growth and is used to refer to an area of incredible harvest. As Grand View Lodge's newest dining venue, the restaurant features worldly wines and small plates with local and regional flavors. At Cru, rich decor creates an intimate atmosphere, providing the perfect dining experience for a romantic dinner or special get-together with friends. I personally had a chance to try all the dishes and WOW!.....top notch. The expert cooks do an extraordinary job in cooking and presenting the one-of-a-kind plates. You can't not try the Pasta Carbonara and the Grilled Lamb Sliders, both are bursting with flavor and texture. Be sure to check out some of the newer menu items being added this year at Cru. I am proud to say we had the opportunity to shoot the stock photography for all theses outstanding cuisines. Last week Graddy Photography was asked to cover a private party for Stonebrooke Wealth Management at Brackett's Crossing in Lakeville. It was a good time and everybody there was extremely nice.
