July 9th, 2014 is a date that we will definitely NEVER forget! Not only were we given the one and only coveted award for "Best Photography" at the Minnesota Bride magazine awards, but we were given the "Top of the Tiara/Best Overall Vendor" in the entire wedding industry award! We are so incredibly honored! The Minnesota Bride magazine awards are hosted every year and out of the hundreds of vendors in each category, three are nominated for each award as voted by past wedding couples and vendors in the industry. The winner in each category is announced the night of the awards and we seriously could not believe it when our name was called twice and especially for the highest honor in the industry. We have so many clients and peer vendors to thank. We owe these awards to you.......those of you who have trusted us over the past ten years with your wedding photos and those of you who we have worked along side of. Thank you! Really.....THANK YOU! Forever | Saint Paul Hotel Wedding Photos
This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Sarah & Charles's wedding in St. Paul, MN. The day started off with some getting ready pictures at The Saint Paul Hotel and shortly thereafter it was time for the couples first sight in Rice Park. With rain in the forecast for much of the morning, it didn't look like things would clear up but low and behold, the clouds broke and the sun came out shining! This wedding here had all the elements of a perfect wedding day with plenty of great photo opportunities and lots of emotion and love. It was a real pleasure to work alongside the amazing John Hoel of Vibrant Film who single-handedly, in my opinion, is one of the most talented professionals in the business. The ceremony was held at Church of St. Louis, King of France off Cedar Street in St. Paul. After the ceremony, the couple rented a trolley from Renee's Royal Valet for the afternoon to hit up some bars and photo locations. We first headed down to Mears Park and then onto Rice Park. We had a great time working with the amazing wedding party! Finally, the reception was held in the main ballroom of The Saint Paul Hotel. With Instant Request covering the music, you know it was going to be a great time. What can I say, this was a rockstar wedding and I was very proud to be a part of it. It was an absolute blast working with you guys, Sarah & Charles. We wish you both the very best and look forward to seeing you guys again!
