WOW....it's finally here! Mario & Tanya's wedding was such an honor to cover. Mario is my old next door neighbor and we couldn't be more thrilled to cover his wedding. This was a cool wedding because it was two local families form the Elko/New Market area getting married and if your from New Market you most certainly know the Friedges Family (Tanya). You more than likely know Mario as well, a much respected business owner here in the Twin Cities Metro Area. So...if you need any sort of garage door repair or replacement, The Garage Door Doctor is your guy! I can personally testify as he did our garage doors on our new home and they are insanely awesome and quiet OMG! We were so very thrilled to cover this wedding seeing as Chantal was a bridesmaid in my sister-in-laws wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico a couple years back. We had a great time with them in Mexico and about a year later they were contacting us to cover their wedding. Chantal & Kris planned the perfect wedding and we were just thankful to play a small part in it! The ceremony took place outdoors at The Woods Chapel with the reception to take place at Bayview Event Center in Excelsior, Minnesota. This past Saturday Graddy Photography made it up to Duluth to cover Cory & April's amazing wedding. The weather was perfect for a north shore wedding with it being in the high 60's. The couple was married at Enger Park overlooking Duluth. If you ever get a chance, go to Enger Tower, by far the best view in Duluth. Warning! This may be one of the biggest wedding photo "sneak peeks" we have ever posted! Last Friday we had the incredible honor of covering our friends Chris and Kim's wedding at Edgewood Farm in Henderson, MN. Chris Meyer is also a leading and very talented photographer based out of the Twin Cities area who owns The Studio MPLS and when he asked us to shoot his wedding we were humbled, excited, and nervous all in one! Being asked to shoot a friends wedding.....awesome. Being asked to shoot a celebrity or public figures wedding.......awesome. However, nothing compares to being asked to shoot a peers wedding......now that is just insanely awesome! On the actual wedding day, we of course were a little nervous while stepping up to the plate to cover such an epic wedding...(oh, and did I forget to mention that there were also four other local photographers in the wedding party and that a pretty good chunk of the guest list were also MN photographers? Talk about initially having some butterflies! ) Everyone was seriously a blast to work with and it was such a fun and relaxed day! The fall setting at Edgewood was was incredible and as you will see in the photos below, both Chris and Kim are pretty easy on the eyes so those things combined definitely made for some really great shots!
Chris and Kim- You guys are the best. Really. Thank you for your friendship, and thank you so much for trusting us with documenting your wedding day. We hope you love this little...ok, ok..... big preview! Enjoy and we cant wait to have you guys over for dinner soon when everything else is complete.
