This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Barb & Jim's wedding at the Semple Mansion. Barb & Jim have been so amazing to work with and we are very thankful for their business. Funny thing, Barb actually contacted us before she was actually engaged to have us do her wedding and as soon as she was engaged, she was on the phone with us shortly thereafter. The Semple Mansion provided a beautiful setting for some getting ready pictures. Then it was off to Mt. Olivet Church in Minneapolis for the ceremony itself. After a great ceremony with lots of laughs, it was back to the Semple Mansion for the cocktail hour and reception. Thanks so much once again Barb & Jim, I had a great time working with you both. Reunion | St Anthony Main Event Center Wedding
This past Saturday Nate & Nikki had their wedding reception at the St. Anthony Main Event Center in Minneapolis. Nate & Nikki were married just earlier this fall in Mexico and decided to have their reception back home with the rest of their family and friends. I was approached by Nate to cover his wedding and coincidentally he covered Chrissy & I's wedding almost seven years ago. Nate might be a familiar face to some of you, he's one of Instant Request's DJ's and one of the very best DJ's in the city. We were very honored to be a part of their wedding reception. We'll be sure to see him again in the field. As a matter of fact we'll see him next weekend as we are working together for Alyson & Nate's wedding at the Calhoun Beach Club. This past Friday Graddy Photography covered Andene & Sean's wedding at the amazing Semple Mansion in Minneapolis. The day started off with getting ready photos in the bridal suite followed by the couple's first sight by the grand staircase. After some wedding party shots and family formals it was time for the evening ceremony. After the ceremony the social hour took place in the beautifully designed Copper Lounge. From there, the guests were invited up to The Grand Palladian Ballroom for the reception. For the dinner prayer, the couple invited all guests to sing "Amazing Grace" together led by the couple and the wedding party.....very cool! This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Erik & Lauren's wedding at the Depot in Minneapolis. The day started off with getting ready photos at the Renaissance Hotel then it was off to the Stone Arch Bridge for the couple's first sight. The weather was rainy but warm and made for some really great shots. Next, we focused on getting some couples shots as well as wedding party. From there, we headed over to their church in Edina for the ceremony. After the ceremony, we headed back to The Depot in Minneapolis for the reception. This past Saturday was an eventful day to say the least. Graddy Photography was up bright and early and ready to go to shoot Jennifer & Cris's wedding at the amazing Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota right next to Brainerd. Grand View Lodge is one our favorite places to shoot weddings. As a matter of fact we will be shooting four weddings up there next year as of now. Jennifer & Cris planned their wedding perfectly with a little help from the accomplished Nicole Sellers of Mother of the Bride event planning. It always nice working with such a consummate professional who keeps everything on time and is always relaxed and calm. The couple wrapped up with dinner by inviting their guests down to the beach for a little surprise......a fireworks show! This past Saturday Graddy Photography covered Nicci & Marc's wedding at Madden's Resort in Brainerd, Minnesota. What a perfect setting for a wedding! The couple and wedding party were an absolute blast to work with. The day was pretty warm for a September wedding. The weather was 85 and sunny and not a cloud in the sky.
