This past August 12th Graddy Photography was on-location in Brainerd, Minnesota for Erin and Ross's big day! The ceremony took place at the bride's private residence on East Gull Lake with the reception to follow at Madden's Resort. It was a star-studded cast of A-list vendors that made it up to play their part in the wedding. Sarah Trotter with lasting Impressions Wedding & Event Planning was at the helm to coordinate and align this fabulous team that has worked so many amazing weddings together in the past. This past week Graddy Photography was at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota to cover stock photography for their new restaurant, On The Rocks. As many former guests know the old patio was destroyed last August with the terrible storms and straight line winds. The Grand View team quickly began making plans for this amazing structure. This past week Graddy Photography made our way up to Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota to cover some commercial photography for the beachside restaurant, The Tanque Verde Cantina. This space has been completely revamped and designed and is a huge success. Now everybody can experience the amazing margaritas that are so popular with the guests who visit their sister property in Tucson, Arizona. This past Friday Graddy Photography ventured up to Madden's Resort to cover a wedding and luckily for all of us it worked out to see some of our existing clients for their annual family photo session. The B Family recently moved up to the Brainerd lakes area but still keep us in mind for family photos which we are very thankful for. We love working with little Elsie and as you can see, she has a lot of different fun personalities! Lucky number seven! This year we were given the award for “Best Photography” for our seventh consecutive year! We are so incredibly honored and still excited from finding out the news back in July! The Minnesota Bride magazine awards are hosted every year and out of the hundreds of vendors in each category, three are nominated for each award as voted by past wedding couples and vendors in the industry. Thousands of votes are tallied and the nominees are announced in the spring……..its such an exciting time and just being nominated is really such an amazing honor. This past Sunday Brooke and Sean were married at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in downtown Minneapolis. The couple flew home from Manhattan to celebrate their union with all their family and friends. This was actually my first time meeting Brooke and Sean and we hot it off right away....pretty easy with such nice people and great family! We started with some of the guys getting ready at the Depot and then onto the girls over at the Nicollet Island Inn. From there, we did all the family and wedding party pictures around the area. After the ceremony, which the rain luckily held off, the couple joined their guests for their social hour and then it was non-stop entertainment to say the least! Graddy Photography covered Steve and Brynn's amazing summer wedding this past July 22nd at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota. As many of our fans know, Grand View Lodge is pretty much our home away from home with the commercial photography we provide for Grand View Lodge and weddings we cover for our clients. Of course the weather was a perfect 82 degrees and sunny which made for a comfortable ceremony at the Grand Staircase. This past week was just unbelievable! Graddy Photography made our way up to Northern Lights Resort on Lake Kabetogama inside Voyageurs National Park. This was actually our third time up there since last May. We have been so thrilled to have these guys as clients and look forward to many more years of amazing memories and shooting. We were on hand to capture all the 4th of July fun including a lot of fishing, kayaking, cruising to Kettle Falls, exploring Ellsworth Rock Gardens, and of course the spectacular fireworks display right at the resort.
