This week Graddy Photography donated our photography services to Tee It Up For The Troops at Brackett's Crossing Country Club in Lakeville. We were approached to do this six months ago and of course we quickly obliged. This isn't our first time working for TIUFTT so there were some familiar faces at the event. We are thankful of our men and women in uniform and the families that support them. We are of course thankful who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Well it's finally here and it's LIVE!!! Never thought I would see the day quite honestly, there were a lot of bumps and turns that could have sidelined this new site. This is the accumulation of two full years of planning, conceptualizing, & most important of all; executing. We're very proud of the direction we are heading. We would like to thank all those responsible for making this business venture a reality and a very special thanks to Frank Soukup (Director of Marketing, Grand View Lodge) who instilled his trust in us early on and let us flourish. We consider Frank a mentor and good friend and we look forward to many years of continued success and friendship. This past week was a very busy week at Graddy Photography. For starters, we had two wonderful weddings at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota. Then a couple chill days at Grand View Lodge with the boat then it was off to work for our favorite commercial vendors. We photographed a lot of tasty food and loads of other stuff for the resort. Graddy Photography joined the marketing department of Grand View Lodge as a freelance photographer a little more than a year ago and we have been making big waves in both our respective industries, hospitality and the wedding industry. We cannot thank you all enough for your continued support and appreciation of our work and we look forward to seeing you all again here shortly in the near future. A few weeks back Graddy Photography made it down to Bridal Accents Couture in Burnsville to cover owner Michelle's business headshots for an upcoming publication. We are so happy for Bridal Accents Couture for all their continued success in the wedding industry and we consider them great friends. Three hour drive for a picture of what?……ohh Tater Tot Hot dish, I guess we’ll be there ha! Yes it’s true Graddy Photography drove to our new adopted home of Nisswa to do a piece for an upcoming publication…..fingers crossed it gets some good press! Aside from photographing a few food menu items, our primary focus was a Minnesota favorite, the Tater Tot Hot dish. By the looks of this hot dish it could only come from Grand View Lodge. Grand View Lodge time and time again continues to raise the bar of eccentric homestyle cooking “northwoods style”. What a treat this was! Seriously, if you are a foodie and want a culinary adventure you have to take a trip to Grand View Lodge and try their numerous dining facilities. Thanks once again Grand View Lodge, you have once again exceeded our expectations and we’re sure you will do so for many who will soon visit!

Last week Graddy Photography covered some commercial food photography for Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. This was our second time down there this year and it was a ton of fun! Believe it or not it was actually spring somewhere! The weather was in the mid 80's with a slight desert breeze.....absolutely perfect! This past week Graddy Photography made it down to Tucson, Arizona to Tanque Verde Ranch. Tanque Verde Ranch is located right in Suguaro National Park right in the mountains. We had an amazing time capturing all that makes the resort so special particularly the desert in bloom. If you have never seen the desert in bloom, it's certainly a bucket list item! This past week Graddy Photography headed down to Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. What a nice two day break from the ugly Minnesota weather. The weather was sunny and 82 degrees with a nice gentle spring breeze. It was insanely beautiful seeing the Saguaro National Park in bloom......so many colors and fragrances! This was our second time to Tanque Verde Ranch and will be a trip that we will always remember. Our primary focus on this trip was to capture some of the accommodations as well as the food being served by the amazing chefs at Tanque Verde Ranch. This past week Graddy Photography was invited to Carlson Towers to photograph their food menu. What a great selection of appetizers, meals, and desserts. We of course had to sample a few....and the winner in our books was the wrapped asparagus. Thanks so much Dawn and Kirsten for including Graddy Photography.....it was a blast as always. This past week Graddy Photography made it up to the Brainerd area of lakes for a photo shoot at Grand View Lodge. The weather was perfect, in the 20's and no wind. The night before there was a fresh snow which froze right to the trees making it perfect for photos. We covered snowmobiling, romantic sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, and other winter activities. Hopefully next time we will be able to do the dog-sledding. Well, it was an amazing experience as usual and we look forward to the next time we're there.

This past week Graddy Photography set out to catch some winter activities at the spectacular Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota. Nisswa is located in the Brainerd area of lakes in central Minnesota. Graddy Photography was very excited at the opportunity to provide our photography services to Grand View Lodge once again. This was such an awesome experience shooting the sleigh ride. This excursion couldn't have worked out more perfectly. With rainy weather in the Twin Cities, we hurried up north to catch the last remnants of winter. To our surprise, about 15 miles south of Brainerd, the rain had turned into snow which stuck directly to all the branches making it perfect for photos. Grand View Lodge and Cru Restaurant (located at Grand View) have joined together to bring you this one of a kind winter experience!
This past week Graddy Photography covered the tailgate party for Blattner Energy at the Hilton in Minneapolis. This is actually my second time shooting for Blattner Energy.
