This week was full of amazing opportunities, one was visiting Door County, WI for the very first time. Of course being from the Mid-West, I have heard many great things about Door County and it certainly lives up to its expectations. We were shooting for Glidden Lodge Beach Resort right on the waters of Lake Michigan. The weather was amazing and I was able to capture some amazing evening shots and early morning shots. The sunrise on the morning photos was 5:03am so the whole lake was lit up with this hazy pink glow at 4:30am so naturally I had to get up and grab the camera right away. It's clear to see why you guys have so many excellent reviews online and why I heard from numerous people visiting that this resort is their absolute favorite!

What an amazing trip. The shots below are from our recent stay at Thatch Caye Resort, a private island resort 10 miles off the coast from Dangriga, Belize. Three flights and a boat ride later we arrived. We spent the week relaxing, going snorkeling, conch hunting (which the cooks fried up for us), kayaking, fly fishing for permit, tarpon, and barracuda, and soaking up some sun. There were only maybe 20 guests at any given time and it was cool to meet so many interesting couples from all over North America. It was pretty cool meeting and chatting with some people in the fly fishing industry who were there to scout the resort and fishing waters that surround it. We have never seen such beautiful colored water and the Belizean people were all very kind and more than accommodating....we will for sure be back!
