Here's our second post of our recent trip to Sturgeon Bay, WI in the heart of Door County to shoot for Glidden Lodge Beach Resort. The mornings and evenings were brilliant but mid day was overcast and slightly raining. However that did not take away from capturing the richness and beauty of the area. This week was full of amazing opportunities, one was visiting Door County, WI for the very first time. Of course being from the Mid-West, I have heard many great things about Door County and it certainly lives up to its expectations. We were shooting for Glidden Lodge Beach Resort right on the waters of Lake Michigan. The weather was amazing and I was able to capture some amazing evening shots and early morning shots. The sunrise on the morning photos was 5:03am so the whole lake was lit up with this hazy pink glow at 4:30am so naturally I had to get up and grab the camera right away. It's clear to see why you guys have so many excellent reviews online and why I heard from numerous people visiting that this resort is their absolute favorite!
