This past Saturday Kari and Billy tied the knot at the Steeple Center in downtown Rosemount with their reception to follow at Glenhaven Events in Farmington. This past Saturday was Kelsey & Jake's wedding and we were more than thrilled to have captured it! Jake and Kelsey are good friends of ours and we have a lot of mutual friends from college and high school through them. We started the day with getting ready photos at the Radisson Blu Mall of America and then off to the ceremony in Bloomington. From there, we made a quick stop off at a copule spots for some wedding party pictures and a quick drink. Finally, back to Radisson Blu MOA for the amazing reception! This past Friday Stephanie and Josh tied the knot at the Calhoun Beach Club in Minneapolis. It was yet another cool but nice Minnesota summer day and we were able to get in all the photos we needed without the weather interfering. Jared and Stephanie tied the knot last Saturday here in Minneapolis, Minnesota surrounded by many of their close family and friends. We started the day at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Minneapolis and then headed over to Bohemian Flats for the ceremony and boat cruise with Paradise Charters. The ceremony took place at the outdoor pavilion and shortly thereafter the guests loaded the charter cruise on the Mississippi River. What a great way for family and friends to celebrate their union. This past Saturday Sam and Joanna tied the knot at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in Minneapolis. It was a fairly cool and gloomy day but certainly made nice for wedding photos. Graddy Photography was on hand to cover Katie and Joe's magical winter wedding last Saturday. Katie and Joe, what can I say other than WOW! You guys pulled off such amazing wedding! With Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions Wedding Coordination, no stone was left unturned and this was a true masterpiece of perfection and precision planned by her. Sarah continues to amaze us with her attention to detail, orientation, and overall exuberance to each and every wedding she orchestrates. The day started of at the bride's residence where we were teamed up with the one and only John Hoel of Vibrant Film. This guy and his work ethic continues to blow us away! We are so thankful to shoot alongside him, he is the very definition of an artist in every sense of the word. After getting ready photos it was off to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Edina, Minnesota. The Machine Shop is the real deal, a very hip new venue in the Saint Anthony Main district across the river from the Stone Arch Bridge. This past Saturday the Guthrie got turned upside down with this bunch! Karen and Chad tied the knot on the 9th floor of the Guthrie Theater in the Gold Room in downtown Minneapolis. The ceremony was performed by the bride's brother and then again at dinner because they forgot to exchange rings during the actual ceremony....ha! Karen and Chad currently reside in San Francisco but flew home to get married. In tow with them from California was a fantastic group of friends and family that were ready for a celebration! I have to say I have shot a lot of weddings in my day, but this one was pretty unreal! From the bride's brother singing "Livin' on a Prayer" to the afterwards dance party! Last Saturday Graddy Photography covered Sara and Nate's wedding at the Mill City Museum in downtown Minneapolis. I was just at Mill City the night before for the wedding....same venue, two different days, weather, and couple made for a great weekend at my favorite venue in the Twin Cities. Last Friday Abby and Doug tied the knot at the historic Mill City Museum in downtown Minneapolis. It was our first time shooting there in a while and I was quickly reminded why I would have to say this is my favorite venue to shoot at. Despite raining all darn day, we were able to get some great shots inside the venue. The ceremony took place in the rail corridor. Of course that was not their first choice but Abby was in great spirits and rolled with the punches.
