This past week Graddy Photography made our way south and east a couple hours over to Durand, Wisconsin for Justine and Matt's engagement session at their house and property. It was an amazing drive down through Red Wing, Minnesota and over to Wisconsin. Justine and Matt will be tying the knot this October in Door County and we can't wait to shoot their day! You guys have an amazing county home!

This past week Kalysa and Dustin met up with Graddy Photography in Northfield for their engagement session. We braved the cold to beat the snow that was sure to come. It turned out to not be as bad as anticipated but still felt like winter in April. The couple plan to tie the knot this May at the JW Marriott hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota.....can't wait!

Kristy and Tom made it into Graddy Photography studios this week for their engagement shoot before heading back home to Phoenix. Kristy is from North Dakota so she's familiar with the harsh winters here but poor Tom from Arizona ha! This week started with a shoot on New Years Day....and it was freezing! But we were able to bear the frigid temps and get some great stuff. Proposal | Best Minneapolis Engagement Photographer
This past Sunday Graddy Photography was on hand to capture Bryce's surprise engagement proposal to, his then girlfriend and now fiance, Blair. Bryce contacted our studio just a few days prior to see if we would be available and luckily for us, we were. The stage was set and I was pretty inconspicuous except for my orange jacket that I told Bryce to keep a look out for. He sent over some photos a few days prior so I knew who to look for. So as they passed by Blair all the sudden wanted to crouch down and get a selfie with their pooch. Needless to say this took a little pressure of Bryce because I knew he wasn't getting back up after being crouched down. It was perfect.....so much emotion and happiness all in those few moments! Elizabeth + Drew | Mill City Museum Wedding Photographer
Wow! What an amazing fall shoot this was with the ever charismatic Drew and the ever exuberant Elizabeth! The couple flew home from Manhattan a few days ago to spend time with their families and to knock out some wedding stuff. I'm sure both Elizabeth and Drew are no strangers of being in front of the camera or center of attention (Drew the Broadway musical composer and Elizabeth the Off-Broadway actress, dancer, and singer) but this was just them being them and I was merely a fly on the wall. Elizabeth and Drew are getting married next October back here in Minneapolis at the Mill City Museum. Joan Nilsen with Ambiente Wedding & Event Planning will be leading us through the day and the planning process. I think I speak for us all that this will no doubt be an amazing wedding and celebration! Rush | San Francisco Wedding Photographer
Well well....all I can say is what an amazing time! Ashley and Tommy are wedding clients of Graddy Photography and will be getting married next June at the Lafayette Club in Minnetonka Beach. In the meantime, they invited us out to San Francisco to do their engagement pictures. I think I speak for us all that that was an excellent idea! We have been to SF once before about 5 years ago and it was one of my favorite cities in the U.S. since, this only solidified it as probably my favorite. The sights, sounds, smell of eucalyptus, the fog, the history and the hills. Now top that off with an amazing shoot with an extraordinary couple and you have memories that last a lifetime right there. We started the morning off at Land's End and then headed up to the Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park. From there we headed down to the docks next to Ghirardelli Square and Hyde St. Pier for some more pictures. Unfortunately we were unable to capture any off the Golden Gate Bridge because of the intense fog. Go all the way to SF and do this whole shoot and don't even get the Golden Gate Bridge in there ha! That's alright though we already had an evening planned for a nighttime cable car ride and walk through Chinatown. Tommy has yet to go on a cable car so this was a perfect opportunity. But first we had to have some celebratory beverages for the birthday girl Ashley!
Thank you guys so incredibly much for everything, you guys are so much fun to work with and we are proud to call you friends and clients. We'll see ya in June for sure but hopefully before then when you make it back to Minnesota. You guys rock!

This past week Graddy Photography met up with Laura and Fred in downtown Northfield for their engagement session. Worked out well seeing as Fred and Laura are Carleton alumni. After shooting mostly downtown we saw it fitting to head over to Carleton for a few shots as well. Congrats guys and we'll see you next April!
