Meet Stacy and Andy! They are a very warm-hearted couple who are very much in love and didn’t have any problem expressing it! What an amazing wedding, seriously! The day kicked off with the guys and girls getting ready at Graves 601 in downtown Minneapolis. Love the Graves! We shot Jen & Todd’s wedding there New Year’s Eve a couple years back. You might have seen it featured in Minnesota Bride Magazine. Click here to see. You can also find it under Minnesota Bride Magazine’s Real Weddings on their website. The couple were married at the Nazarene Chapel on the Northwestern Campus in St. Paul. We have shot here a few times in the past few years. One being Jessica & Rob’s wedding which was also published in Minnesota Bride. Click here to see. You can also see their Real Wedding on Minnesota Bride’s website as well. So right away I had the couple see each other outside the front of the chapel. this always provides a great backdrop for photos. Of course, as with most spring weddings, it was raining. Luckily, it stopped during the ceremony so we were still able to head out after the wedding and do all the creative shots. The ceremony was great then the couple quickly exited after the vows and headed directly over to Cafe Lurcat in Minneapolis so we could start with some couples shots as well as wedding party. The girls brought rain boots for some fun shots, glad they did! From there, we headed over to the Walker Art Center Sculpture Gardens for some more shots. It was an impressive mix of shots I must say…ha! Back to Bar Lurcat where the guests were enjoying cocktails and good conversation. The place was very dressed up! Again, the couple outdid themselves. The attention to detail was spot on, the mood was good, and the staff was flawless in their technique. You almost have to be with a six-course meal. The staff at Bar Lurcat is like none I’vee seen before. They really know how to get the job done. Shout out to all of them! Some of the highlights of the night were first and foremost the outrageous cake (work of art) provided by the one and only Gateaux Wedding Cakes Inc. Simply Unreal! Robin, you’re an amazing talent and I LOVE all your work, excellent job! Next would have to be the couple serving cake to all their guests with personalized aprons, nice touch. The rest of the night went off without a hitch. It was great once again to work with Nate from Instant Request DJ. He is a consummate professional and good friend. Stacy and Andy, thank you so much for including Graddy Photography in all your wedding day plans. It was truly an amazing day and we wish nothing but the best for you both! Hope you had a great time in Paris, France for your honeymoon. Graddy Photography was awarded “Best Photography” in 2011 by Minnesota Bride magazine.
